Do you think that somewhere we are not Nature,
that we are different from Nature?
No, we are in Nature and think exactly like Nature.

_ Brasília has prepared a meeting with a diversity of traditional peoples and communities which preserve the Cerrado from different parts of Brazil. The VI National Meeting of the Cerrado Peoples was a initiative of Rede Cerrado. It happened on September 2009 from the 9th to 13rd. To know more about it and to participate, please visit: http://www.povosdocerrado.com.br/index_volta.html
Dona Pedrelina (photo above) came from Ribeirão de Areia, Minas Gerais for the meeting and to dance. Dona Lili (she doesn´t appear in the photo) also came to dance with many other warriors and dancers. They are from the Comunidade Quilombola Retiro dos Bois Grande Sertão Veredas:
- Dona Pedrelina, what do you dance?
- Daughter, I dance Carneiro, Peneira, Cana Verde, Chote Chorirá, Lundu, Abra a Roda, Xiriri...
- And I (Dona Lili), I dance Manzuá, Tamanduá, Roda, Ariri, Cobra, O Pulo do Guará, Roda Baiana, Lundu, and many others! The Manzuá dance is something from the past, it is not something to give a surprise. And this bag we carry is comforted with the leaves from nature.

Mitoludens is giving the Myth Classes at the Brasilia Botanic Garden 2008/2009. Our Garden! Brasilia Botanic Garden is a very pleasant place with green paths with all the biodiversity of the Cerrado alive and preserved. If lucky, we can see deers, monkeys, armadillos, different kinds of birds and many more of the cerrado nature. Our classes on Mythology through the Archetypal Lens were offered at the charming white Tea´s House. Welcome! To know more about the course, please visit our page on Mythology; to know more about the Brasilia Botanic Garden, please visit http://www.jardimbotanico.df.gov.br/ .
2008 was the first year of Mitoludens there and it was a joy! In 2009, Mitoludens decided to watch-out! (an expression we use to see also outside our own internal experiences and do take action caring also for our anima mundi). In this way, Mitoludens is participating in many activities without losing its ideals and opening to the diversity. In November 2009 we are going to visit the Aldeia Kayapó - Pará. We promise you some good images! To 2010, Mitoludens will be offering Myth Courses also in other cities besides Brasília. Keep in touch to receive our news!

The big fire that spread at the National Park of Brasília reached some areas of Mitoludens when it used to be located at Chácara Mico Estrela. It was sad to see our so well preserved Cerrado into fire. Spring arrived in Brasil and fortunately Cerrado is always inspired to be born from the ashes. See the photos below: within two weeks after the fire we can see the new flowers! On the other side of the hill, where the fire didn´t reach us, we can see our preserved Cerrado and the traditional yellow Ipês.
![]() Mitoludens started its activities in a well preserved green area of the rupestrian cerrado. However, there was yet some areas invaded by brachiaria. We gradually recovered these areas. We did plant native trees of cerrado to reintegrate the primitive flora.
