Bakairi People. Following the indigenous roots in Central Brazil that celebrates the corn, Mytholudens maintain a partnership with the Bakairi people to develop the project on Maize Poem. The intention is to record the sacred songs of Bakairi in the occasion of the rite Anji Itabienly, the corn baptism that celebrates the first rawest pointing the beginning of the ekuru cycle – vital substance in the vegetal world, responsible for the life cycle and the beginning of the Bakairi year. The Mytholudens roof was baptized with a Bakairi ceremony.

  Foundation for Mythological Studies seeks to widen perpspectives by cultivating intellectual ideas and axploring the depth of human experience. Their primary objectives are to mine the sciences and humanitites, particularly Mythological Studies, Depth and Archetypal Psychology, Ecopsychology and other related disciplines in order to broaden interest in cultural mythologies.
 
Kayapo People. They are also maize cultivators and maintain the tradition of the ritualistic hair cut that is directly related to the corn born. Mytholudens includes Kayapo people in the Maize Poem´s Project and has received and realized the workshop “Traditional Kayapo Body Painting” from Moikarakô (PA). It was realized an extension at the Guardian of Cerrado Eco-Retreat, a visit that intents to repeat each year.

 

 

 

 
Luciana Aires Mesquita, MA in Mythological Studies with emphasis in Depth Psychology, Pacifica Graduate Institute, CA, USA (2001) granted by a fellowship from the Organization of American States (OAS). BA in International Relations (1991) and Theatre Arts (1997), University of Brasilia, UnB, Brazil. Searching the theatretical and mythological roots of the Eastern world she traveled in a research endeavor to Japan where she did classes with Kazuo Ohno (Butoh), Kanze Akio (Noh) and Kanichi Hanayagi (Buyo); to India where she had classes of Kathakali; to Bali, Indonesia, had classes on Baris. She has influences from Odin Teatret (Denmark), visited the Theatre du Soleil directed by Ariane Mnouskine whose Ms. Mesquita has a great admiration; and has a partnership with Pantheatre (France). She traveled to Greece thrice refining her studies in Greek mythology and recently recorded the CD Rumi Hafiz Cora where she selected, translated, interpreted and produced the Persian poems. Actually, she is the former president of Mytholudens Institute where she gives Mythology and Dance-Theatre classes as well researches about music and develops the myth research on corn together with the indigenous people Bakairi, Kayapo, Inca-Maya and Navajo to put together the symphony on Mayze Poem. Pantheatre (France) is a theatre company directed by Enrique Pardo, Linda Wise and Liza Mayer. It is based in Paris and has a connection to the Chateau de Malerargues – Roy Hart International Center in south France. Performances, projects, researches, and workshops maintain a group of colleagues who develop specific projects. Pantheatre is not a permanent company with a fixed body of actors, but the directors works privately or together involving Pantheatre in projects that they are invited to or to builp up. Pantheatre´s projects are about the challenge and pleasures of artistic expression and imagination. Pantheatre Acts Voice Performance School is specialist in voice, choreography, theatre and cultural studies, specially linked to mythology and archetypal psychology. James Hillman is the   honors president. Luciana Mesquita participated in workshops with Enrique Pardo and Liza Mayer using Pantheatre´s techniques to the trainee of actors.
