The Guardians of Cerrado Eco-Retreat, or just Aldeia, is an ecological retreat/lodge of sophisticated simplicity in Serranopolis, Goias, Central Brazil, famous, like Serra da Capivara, for the most ancient archeological artistic sites in South America. Based on sustainability principles to provide continuing harmony between people and nature, the retreat is also a meeting point for native indians, educators, naturalists, ecologists, nature lovers, bird watchers and visitors who become here enlightened as they get into direct contact with the wildlife and the ancient indigenous soul. The Aldeia is also known as a place for deep relax and for individuals, families and groups that wish to enjoy the rich native fauna and flora along ecological trails and memorable baths in rivers and waterfalls. Beyond being a sophisticated but wild retreat the Aldeia is a space which was built with soul-forming care for carrying out courses, meetings, workshops and seminars related to nature, traditional cultures, healthy living and traditional healing practices, such as yoga, tai-chi and ayurvedic massage. The specific objective of the retreat is to keep the integral health of this sacred 12 thousand year old indigenous site. Cultural, artistic and terapeutic activities are carried out in the Retreat with the partneship of Mitoludens, Brasilia-DF. We are looking for international partners who share our proposal |
