The wildlife retreat:
From a primitive cabin we had recovered in a natural anphitheatre at the foothill of a sandstone escarpment we  built a mandala of nine cottages  around a large circular Indian hut. Two babbling brooks are tangent to each side of this  Indian central  hut coming from two different ponds, one of which turned into a swimming-pool of cristal-clear running water.  In the architecture we have followed  native Indian sacrality and all buildings are covered by intertwinned palm leaf tached-roof. Each cottage has an outer wood wall and a plastered interior decorated according to different ethical tradidition :  Caboclo, Native Indian, Inca-Maya, African e Nepali traditons. Although similarly built, with living room, 2 bedrooms, bath and kitchen equipped with icebox and oven,  each of the five cottages has its own personality.  Please, choose one of these five cottage when making a reservation. The sixth cottage is a dorm cabin with bed for 14 people. The seventh and eight cottages are external bathrooms and the nineth is a special cottage by the swimming pool, devoted to ofuro bath and therapeutic massage.
In the retreat we encourage sustainable livehood with social and environment ersponsibility. There is no room service and televison and guests must take back to town residues of industrial  products they bring. We also encourage reutilization of towels and bedclothes whenever possible and help to keep the place clean. All tap water is drinking quality spring water and we do not recommend the consumption of soda pop.
The Central Indian Hut, 60 ft in diameter is a meeting place with a central fire. It is also used for special events and all kinds of workshops, music, dance, yoga , indigenous body painting, tai-chi classes, relax and  special events such as wedding celebrations, when the retreat may be closed for visitors.
In the Reception building at the entrance is a library with books and magazines related to nature, healthy living and indigenous culture. Our telephone
x55(61)3668-1081 is radio transmited and worldwide acessible.  Internet facility is slow, often precarious and available to visitors from 9 pm to 7 am.  Seu Vicente, the  manager,  may be  taking care of the organic vegetable garden if there is no answer. He is, then, available on the mobile phone  x55(64) 9606-2203.
The tatched-roof panoramic restaurant surrounded  by native woods is headed by Vicente´s wife, Dona Marta, who prepares special regional dishes, home coocking and vegetarian meals with  love seasoning. Fresh fruit juices of the season and herbal teas are available and meals may be degustated with a selection of Brazilian and imported wines. The restaurant is also a special place for bird watching and for taking pictures of over one hundred bird species.
